Little bit of catch up :)

Hello everyone...

Well what an amazing few weeks i have had! Here is what has happened -

1. Exams are over for the semester!!! YAY! I think i'm getting the hang of them. The final one was maths so my heart was pumping pretty hard before i walked in but i was given a fair bit of pre-exam counsilling from my friends and family (thank you) which helped lots. So i walked into all of my exams with an alter ego dressed in super hero clothes and kicked butt to the best of my abilities hopefully it was good enough for the lecturers - i am just oh so glad that probably the hardest semester of my degree is over.


2. Very close friends of Bretts family, Kim and Brett aka Eddy, finally joined hands in holy matrimony. The night was wonderful with Lisa Marie as maid of honor (you can see more info regarding this on LM's blog), Paul as the photographer and Brett assisting as music and camera man. It was one of the most beautiful events i have ever attended and as the night progressed to a close there were many kisses, cuddles, love dancing (thanks Brett) and happy tears... I am now a firm believer that we are all romantics at heart.

3. Aaron has departed to Melbourne for a few months. I was thrilled to learn last week that he is moving his sounds closer to pretty side of music. I miss him lots... :)

4. Matilda has new words! Pheeese (please), flowher (flower), Mum (at last...), shooze (shoes), Dum dum (dummy) and an array of other one and two syllable nouns. She is very cheeky, very happy and emotive and is begining to run circles around us (which i'm sure will bring a haha smile to the parents faces).


5. Bass in the Grass: WOW! what a fantastic day. As you all know i'm a massive Gerling fan, a Hilltops hoods and Herd fan. I am now also vey big fan of Faker. If you have ever been out with me you will know i go a little crazy, and my friends i went alot crazy. I attended the event with Lady Corrine met up with Annette and Ryan and later with Mr Collins and co. Bianca, Ezrick and Lahtina also attended... Absoloute music bliss! I was in my zone. We all met up later at the Pub Bar to check out Cincos Locos play with some of the Herd only to find not only them there but also members from Faker, Gerling, the Hilltop hoods and the Living End. It was very surreal and unforgettable... And honestly just a little weird to be in the same room as your music gods who suddenly become mortilised...
