Mexican wave

From Left to Right - Danielle, Karin, Kayli, Kalinda, Ben, Karen, Alice, Lisa

Lady Karin, my wonderful friend, co-worker and birth support partner (yes still) is departing Darwin - and no not to Adelaide... The lucky lady is heading down to Tweed Heads late October to surf, dance and get back into oncology nursing. So to celebrate her new start we held a Mexican wave party. As you can imagine, there was a delight of mexican displays including the piniata and giant cactus, hoards of mexican foods and drinks and lots of hair - hairy faces, hairy chests, butt cracks ect...

As the night continued there was more tequila bought and drunk, drunk, drunk...We all ended up lining up to look pretty without the mexican hair so we could head out for a dance and a drink in Darwin city. Karin left her mark on Mitchel St after much dancing and laughing...
I had a fantastic time, and by the looks of things, so did all!

Wheres Wally??

Beautiful missed Kate this is for you...Within the crowd, at grooveinthemoo stands a man who once used to live with you, his name is Steve, you cant see if he is pleased but he is there and still manages to get cheesed! I love you!

Interesting things

Matilda - first joined words "mapmaa shooosh" translated 'Granpas shoes' and "pheeese doun" translated 'please down'. My little kid is oh so big now, she is almost two and wonderful in every way! Beautiful little kid! Brett is home with her full time now, so those two have got into gardening, swimming and playing pranks on Mum...

Friends -Trisha and Ashton finally got married (11/12 years down the track - Gawd) and i was bridesmaid for my wonderful friend who looked so so so so beautiful
Ruby and Alfie were up here recently, and it was fantastic to see those two crazy people again although like any thing that is short and sweet - you should have lots lots more. I miss them alot but i am slowly resigning myself to the fact that Adelaide and i have this tugawar with my friends going on and i am losing!
I'm also attending Eddie and Tims wedding down in Brisbane early october, which i am very very excited about. Not only because i love weddings but because the last time i spent time with the two duckypoos it was 2003 Newyears in Mooloolaba. It has been a long time and can't wait to see those two tie the knot.

Ruby and I:

Family - Since i'm in Brissy, i'm going to stay in close proximity, head down to the coast, for a few days to give the people i love lots and lots of cuddles before i head off to:

Work - im going to CIPHERS Annual Learning Conference this year (i just missed out last year due to study commitments) and not only is this alot more interesting for me than it is for you, it is actually exciting because i get to depart brisbane, post wedding and cuddles, and scoot down to Melbourne...

So please let me know if there is anything i should do in Melbourne (it has been 10 years since i graced the markets) that is worthy of my attention?

Love and kisses
